Recycle or reuse e-waste and protect the environment!

Between 12th and 15th March Life+ SLovenia WEEE campaign ran a large collection and awareness raising initiative about the importance of WEEE recycling in the "Pomurje" region. In cooperation with Saubermacher - Komunala Murska Sobota (local public waste operator) and 18 schools in the area we collected all kinds of E-waste and waste batteries. Collection took place in schools and nearby collection centers, where individual communities are encouraged to help their school collect the most e-waste to win a concert. Every particpant enters a draw to win a refrigerator.
