In October this year, ZEOS, ravnanje z električno in elektronsko opremo, d.o.o., issued an invitation to 'Separate out' and started to implement the all-Slovenian awareness raising Life+ Slovenia WEEE Campaign project, which is partly financed from European funds (the LIFE+ Information & Communication programme) and financially supported by the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning of the Republic of Slovenia.
The aim of the project is to increase awareness of environmental issues related to production and use of electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), luminaries and portable battery and accumulator waste (waste PBA), management of WEEE and its treatment and recovery including reuse and recycling. The project will last two years, i.e. from October 2011 to November 2013, and will address primary and secondary school students and teachers as well as households in the entire territory of Slovenia
